I have not been on this board or Frontierfolk in several years. When I got started in reenacting I was Single ! Got married and to the wrong woman.... There went my reenacting and living history..... Now I'm free and single and hope to get back into it :] !
Now to my question.... I live in the Knoxville,Tennessee area. I am looking for a seamstress in this area who knows how to make historical clothing and knows her stuff. Reason,I prefer hands on instead of measuring and sending off measurements. Thats the way I had my original clothing done. That person no longer makes clothing. Buying online or at events, does not work. I have to buy 2 sizes up just to fit my arms.Yep.... Long....
Have tried to make contact with a lady in Madisonville,Tn. Have not heard from her yet .Will have to wiat and see. Yet I am looking for options if she isn't available.
Anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
