I'll be showing up at Fort de Chartres for the November Woods Walk and Winter Encampment on Friday. Weather looks to be good for the entire weekend.

I'll be there in the trader area. I'll have some back issues of both MUZZLELOADER and On The Trail plus an assortment of other items!

I went out yesterday, hardly had a chance to sit down, there were so many folks to visit with. The weather was nice, a tad cool at times, but it beats the heat and mosquitoes any day!

The winter encampment at Fort de Chartres was great as usual.

I walked through Jason's area a couple of times, but didn't stop to chat.

My only regret was that I didn't find a team to compete in. I did the next best as followed Fitch's Company. Also following the team was a photographer who has posted some photos. On his website, he has photos of the 2012 Woods Walk. I can't wait to see what he will be putting up for 2013.
Go to his website and view the birth of a notion portfolio. Click on the "more" tab from a computer. I haven't figured out the path on the mobile app.

Viewing the photography site, it looks like a bunch of those fellers who wear glasses left their period spectacles at home!
