Nedlers Grove encampment was a great time this year. Here are some pictures just to show off the fun we had!

Master Jones picked a fight:

And got into more than he could handle:

I tried to avenge him, but also lost....

A ragged bunch with a poor dog carrying their load:

A nice water fall:

A few of Morgan's Riflemen:

Drill time for the soldiers:

Some smoke:

More smoke:

and more smoke!

we made sure to keep the rifles ready at all times...most the time....

overall it was a fine camp:

It really was a great time, I look forward to next year. Now if I can only figure out how to post the cannon videos! Matt

Matt,
Where exactly is Nedlers Grove?
I went to a shoot once out of Red Bluff up near the Yolla Bolly Wilderness and it looked a lot like that.

By the way, are you going to make it to the Pacific's

Hi Lloyd, Nedlers is just east of Oakhurst, CA. south of Yosemite. It is a very nice area, very similar to the Yolla Bolly's and Trinity Alps, but it has some huge Sequoia tree's.

We did a few woods walks and picked some nice Morel mushrooms.

I will be at Pacific's, and am really looking forward to it. Marty and I will be headed up Friday or Saturday most likely.

Matt
