Welcome to our Message Board, it's dedicated to the world of trekking, but not limited to that topic alone. HistoricalTrekking.com reserves the right to delete any posts. Also please remember, the opinion expressed below may not be those of the owners and administrators or advertisers of this site. Have a good time!

Message Board Rules

No profanity, this is a family site.

Please be courteous to other posters. If you must flame someone, take it off-list.

It isn't required, but it is appreciated that when you post, you do so under your own name and E-mail address. Camp names are welcome, but people posting under multiple false names will be asked to leave.

Do not try to sell your goods here. That is why we have The Virtual Round Robin. If someone is looking for an Item, and you have it, please contact them off-list.

This is not a public forum, it is a privately run forum and we reserve the right to remove any post.

Subscribe to On The Trail magazine. :-)

Please Note: Your username and Password from the old Message Board will not work here. You will need to register to post Messages.

How do I post a Picture in my Ad?
Open the image on your computer. Resize the image so that it is no more than 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels tall. Save it as a JPG at about 60% quality, so that the filesize is under 128KB.

Then Login to the Forums here, click on Album, Click on Your Personal Gallery, Click on Upload Pic, Fill Out the form, upload the pic, go back to your personal gallery, click on the thumbnail so that the picture open up fullsize. Select the location. (Will look something like http://historicaltrekking.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=5 )

Copy it (CTRL-C, or Edit, Copy) Then go to the Forum you wish to post on, click reply or new topic, in the body of that paste the Image URL (something like http://historicaltrekking.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=5) select it again and click the IMG box. That will add the IMG /IMG tags to it.

Type the rest of your message and you're done.
