As an East Florida Ranger we portray the Tory Rangers that ranged in the south through Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and the Indian lands during the period of 1775-1783. Originally the Rangers rode horses and hunted loose, or mostly available, cattle and goods to provision St Augustine and the East Florida colony. In 1776 they were dispatched to range the south disrupting Georgian and Patriot forces and keep them off balance during the conflict. During that time horses were mostly used by the Military and Patriot forces and the Rangers did most of their campaign by trekking through the South. We strive to show the public that side of the conflict and the hardships and life on the campaign. Are there any others here that follow a similar line to their experimental archeology? Sing out.......
