Sailing is food for my soul and my soul has been starving for the past few years. Are there any boats I could come play/crew on near St. Paul MN?

Also, I'd like to live on a sailboat within a few years if possible. Are there any historical boats small enough for 1 person to live on and not need more to crew? I know people who live on modern sailboats year round but I'm not sure if that transfers well to historical boats.

Laurel, I know you posted this question back in April, I'm sorry, I just got back onto this forum. What time period are you interested in? A reproduction 18 th century sloop just sold here, in Mayne, last summer it would have made a good live aboard. There seem to be a good many Pinkys around and I see them up for sail, (sorry, sale), from time to time. The pinkys are in the 38' range and are an early 19th century boat and would lend themseves to single handing and a live aboard life style. pm me if you care to and send me an e-mail address. I would be happy to keep an eye out for the vessel that you might want. I'll help you any way I can. Paul

Has anyone ever heard from this person. I never did get a response. I wonder if they got a boat and sank?
Paul
