Well, since I just ordered a Getleman's rod from Dana, and shoul dhave it in the new few days I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get an 18th century proper creel? We'll be doing an 18th century canoe trip in the next month and I plan to do a little fyshing with an angle while on the trip.

Thanks,
Jason

Easy... EBay is a good spot to grab one.

Since creels have quite literally not changed since at least the 16th century, just about any woven classic creel will work. Here are a few on EBay that would work for an 18th century creel. If you don't like these, just check out the catagory they are in, plenty to choose from.

You might also call around to local antique shops and see if there is one hanging around. That is how I found mine.
