I have been working on this project for a little while now. I want to start doing something at events besides posing under trees with a gun or just dressed up with nothing to do and nowhere to go. During a search for documentation on another subject, I came across several images of knife grinders from several different periods spanning Elizibethan to post American Civil War. I have put this up on other sites but failed to share the project and the progress here. So, for those who wish to explore a viable impression here is what I am doing:

There are several other images of portable types on wheelbarrow frames too. I have not decided yet how I am going to fix this one yet. It will depend on wheter or not I decide to build a donkey cart set-up for tools and tinkering or just do a grinder only impression.
