Anyone know of a good source for brain tan hides? I need to make new leggins and mocks. I would tan them myself, but don't have the hides or time.

There is someone who advertises in the header for this board. If it doesn't come up, ask Jason who it is.

I got my hides from Don Born here in Colorado. I don't have his contact info at the moment, but will post it Monday if he doesn't reply himself..the hides I got from Don are some of the very nicest braintan I've seen and I highly recommend him-easy to deal with and a quality product..

Braintan.com advertises with us and I have gotten hides from them in the past, they are really good.

But another good person is Oliver McCloskey, he advertises in the magazine, I have some of his hides also and they are top notch as well.

The thing with Braintan.com is they buy lots of hides from lots of people and sell them, they are all good hides, but if you buy from Oliver, you're getting his hides.

Either way you won't go wrong.
